Tallinn => Oil Shale Mining Museum (Kohtla Nõmme) =>Toila
Conference buses will take participants on Oct. 20 (Thursday) from Tallinn directly to Oil Shale Mining Museum and excursion in the oil shale region. Conference buses start from parking lot of NICPB (Tallinn, Akadeemia tee 23) at 11.30 on Oct 20 (Thursday) and will make a stop at Tallinn airport in front of the arrival gate (the bus is marked "ETS&SSCT") at 12.00 to collect participants. In case of emergencies in flight schedule please contact the organizers (see the numbers of contact mobile phones). During the trip we will serve a light lunch. To reach NICPB, take a taxi (about 7-8 Eur) or trolleybus 1, 2, 3 or 5 (to the final stop in Mustamäe). NICPB is about 8 km (30 min by trolleybus) from the city centre, in Mustamäe district. To reach the airport from the city centre we suggest to take a taxi (the airport is relatively close to the city and the taxi costs approximately 8 Eur).

In case you use public transport in Tallinn (trolley bus, bus, tram), the single ticket costs 1 Eur and is valid for 1 trip. To change the bus, you have to buy a new ticket. Tickets are available from driver.

We plan to be in the Mining Museum appproximately by 15.30. Approximately at 17.00 we will depart from the Mining Museum to Toila.

Participants who miss the Conference bus have to take public bus from Tallinn Bus Station (Bussijaam) to Jõhvi that will depart almost every hour (single ticket ca 6 Eur). See timetable for details (Departure: Tallinn; Destination: Jõhvi). From Jõhvi take a taxi to Toila Sanatoorium (approximately 6 Eur). To reach the Tallinn Bus Station from Tallinn airport, train station or harbor we advise to take a taxi (approximately 5-7 Eur). Receipt to be asked from the taxi driver in Estonian is "ARVE".

Toila => Tallinn
Conference bus from Toila to Tallinn will depart on Sunday, Oct 23 at 9.00 and will be in Tallinn approximately 12.00. Bus will make stops in Tallinn airport and harbor with a final stop at Akadeemia tee 23 (NICPB). The participants who have to depart from Toila earlier, please take a taxi from Toila to Jõhvi (approximately 6 Eur) and from Jõhvi take a public bus to Tallinn .
